61. At Tyre and Sidon

        ²¹And Jesus went away from there (Capernaum) and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon. ²⁴And he entered a house and would not have anyone know it; yet he could not be hid.
        ²²And behold a Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, “Have mercy on me; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon.”
        ²⁸Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.”
        And her daughter was healed instantly.

62. At Magadan

        ³⁹Jesus went to the region of Magadan.^{a 1}And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
        ²He answered them, “When it is evening, you say it will be fair weather, for the sky is red; ³in the morning it will be foul weather, for the sky is red and threatening. You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. ⁴An evil generation seeks for a sign, but no sign shall be given.” So he left them and departed.
        ⁶And Jesus said to his disciples, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
